Library Hoopla – March 2021

We have a winner!

Congratulations to Aleeah Lumsden and her winning pretty pink snowman! Thank you to everyone who submitted a snow sculpture for our Snow Sculpture Contest!

Take & Make Kits

Come in and grab our Take & Make Kits for March! Available in the children’s department or at the circulation desk.

Nature mask (ages 4+): Make a fun mask out of leaves!

Minecraft Creeper felt cube (ages 9+): Make a stuffed felt cube Creeper from Minecraft (note: this craft involves hand-sewing)

Rainbow keychain (ages 12+): Get into the St. Paddy’s day spirit by making a super simple macramé keychain.

Get Outdoors!

This month’s theme for our Get Outdoors Club is “Wake Up!” Nature is waking up! We’ll start to see animals coming out of hibernation, certain birds coming back, and plants growing. Can you find the first daffodil of the season? This month we’ll also learn how to build a nesting box and how to make maple syrup taffy! Yum!
