Job Title: Children’s Programmer

The Smiths Falls Public Library is seeking a Children’s Programmer to plan and facilitate a variety of individual programs as well as help with our overall summer reading program.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • preferably is currently studying education, library science, or similar
  • has experience working with children
  • loves public libraries
  • is enthusiastic, creative, adaptable, reliable, and personable
  • has good computer skills
  • preferably has valid First Aid/CPR
  • is willing to undergo a vulnerable sector criminal record check

This position will commence as soon as possible and last until September 2, 2022. The position will pay $16.00 per hour and be for 35 hours per week.
