Virtual Kids’ Book Club Is Here!

Join us once a month to talk about great books with your friends!

The next Virtual Kids’ Book Club is on Thursday, January 28, 2021. Once you have registered, visit the Children’s Department to pick up and read RESTART by Gordon Korman before our meeting.

Registration is required. Grades 5 and up.

We are bringing the book club to you! The Smiths Falls Public Library will be doing our monthly book club meetings over Zoom. Join Debra on the 4th Thursday of the month from 4:30 – 5:30 PM to talk about that month’s book.

We will send your parent or guardian an email with the link to join our virtual book club meeting. Instructions on how to join will be included.

Baby Time

You and your baby will enjoy a half hour of bouncy rhymes, tickle time, and soothing cuddles along with stories and an activity. We meet Thursdays at 11:30 AM. Space is limited so please register in advance with your contact info and your child’s name and date of birth.

Story Time

Story Time includes stories, rhymes, songs, an early literacy activity and an age appropriate craft. This drop-in program for children aged 1 to 4 takes place on Fridays at 10:30 AM.

LEGO Time

Drop-in on Saturday mornings between 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM. For kids of all ages. Children 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Kid’s Book Club

Read great books and talk about them with friends at the club meeting! This book club is for kids in Grade 5 and up and meets once a month on Thursdays from 4:30 PM – 5:40 PM. Registration is required.

E.P.I.C. Kid’s Club

We are Engaged, Passionate, Inspired, and Community-minded kids who want to make a difference in our community while having fun and meeting others! Kids in Grade 5 and up meet twice a month on Thursdays from 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM.

After School Fun

Kids in Grade 1 to 4 meet on the first Tuesday of the month from 4:15 PM – 5:15 PM for an hour of games, crafts, and FUN!

PA Day Fridays

Meet at the library between 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM for some PA Day fun!

Summer Activities

The library offers a variety of fun activities through our Patricia Foulkes Summer Reading Program. The TD Summer Reading Club is part of this program. Join us in Summer 2021!
